Alice in wonderland....

Yes I am jumping on the bandwagon, but there is something about the enchantment of Alice and her crazy friends

I am also loving the shops take on all things Alice, from whimsical prints, to oversized watches and fanatical accessories. You are sure to find yourself wearing something inspired for this Spring Summer. Here’s some of my favourites!

brits and all...

So the Brits proved to be array of good and bad

Am I the only person in this world that seems to think that Cheryl Cole is the most overated celebrity going - There is way too much crotch action for my liking in this image - plus the baseball cap?! This whole look confuses me.

However, one celeb who just proves to keep getting it right these days is the wonderful Lily Allen - despite her slightly lacklustre performance, her lace and leather outfit was simply amaze!

To get her look, just pop on a long sleeved lace top
and then here comes the expensive part
A leather corset may set you back £399?? hmmm maybe i'll stick to hoodie and baseball cap like Cheryl this time!

Pop Ups

So i'm not talking about pop ups on your computer... more the restaurant and shop variety. There seems to be an ongoing trend of all things temporary...

There's a part of me that loves this - you can go to a pop-up shop and get something no one else will have in that part of town, the next week, the shop is gone - your one off dress, saved for your wardrobe alone.

So surely these are a great concept, plus they give independent designers the opportunity to promote there clothes without the additional cost of owning a piece of property to do so.

Pop Store - http://popstore.shop.venda.com/engine/shop/index.html has carried this idea out having pop up shops all around the country, stocking cult fashion labels including, Junk Food, A-List celebrity favourite Wildfox Couture, Christopher Le Suave and their own label Fourholes to name a few.

VAMPIRE BEACH JUMPER by Wildfox Couture

Launched in Brent Cross last year, they are now looking to open up 4 temporary stores in London’s Whiteleys Centre.

Jump on the pop up bandwagon and check out the site for the next installment of Pop Store!

McQueen

So its been a few days for the dust to settle in regards to McQueen's death. All I can say is how shocked I am that someone with such talent and who provided such inspiration to so many had to pass so young.

There is so much to say about his designs but it just doesn't compare to seeing them for youself, each piece being a genuine work of art.

So I will say no more.
Alexander, rest in peace

90s fashion having a come back..... again

Did anyone else recieve this wonderous email today wishing everyone Happy 90210 day! (What an inventive play on numbers!)

I can't help but love some of the fashion classics here. Brian Austin Green - how did he end up with Megan Fox wearing such an interesting ensembel - who knows.

However, Donna's daisy print dress actually reminds me of a floral dress I own (like everyother high st shopper it seems!)

Talking of floral dresses, yet another one has caught my eye. Available at Topshop.com and only £45 I think I may have to have it in my life. So what if its minus 1 outside!!

Still it shows 90s fashion is truly here to stay, I mean check out Brendon denim on denim - oh so Spring/Summer 2010!

welcome you - welcoming me!

So after much trial and tribulation (well it hasn't been that taxing) I've decided to start up a blog.

This is a space for my constant ramblings on all sorts of obsessions from beauty buys, fashion lusts, random finds and facts. I aim to entertain!

For now, welcome and hope you enjoy my ramblings and most probable rants!
