Sunsense Daily Face

So the summer may be over, but this doesn't stop the sun shining (occasionally!) and we still need daily defence from sun damage.

Most recently I tried out SUNSENSE Daily Face for everyday use on the face and neck.  This light, soft cream has an oil free base and is tinted for a sheer matt finish. Not only is it super super light, but the fact that you get a bit of tint in it, makes it the perfect base.

It works as a great primer too! For stockists check out - http://www.sunsense.co.uk/findstockist.asp

So I've been a bad blogger... I apologise but I've been so busy with lots of different events. So excuse the lazy post but below are some highlights of my last few months.

Suda Thai

Hidden behind Long Acre in Covent Garden lies St Martin's Court Yard, a modern development of new restaurants and snazzy shops.Brand new to this area is Suda Thai (http://www.suda-thai.com/) a modern take on the traditional thai. Greeted by friendly staff and modern decor the restaurant ticked all the boxes on first impressions.

On each table were these quaint hand made reindeer, not sure on the relevance but they were a nice touch, plus you could purchase them.

For starter I had prawn and fishcake 'lolipops' with Thai sweet chilli sauce - the taste didn't exactly blow my mind but did the trick for a starter.

For main however I had red curry with seabass - the creamy sauce complimented the light fish perfectly and was a delicious main. Definitely worth another visit!

Lantana

On a very wet day last week I got to have lunch with the wonderful http://www.secretdiaryofafashionjournalist.com/

We went to a quaint CafĂ© called Lantana on Charlotte Street.

With scrambled eggs to die for and fresh smoked salmon, the portions were HUGE and just what we needed to start our days.

With reasonable prices and a buzzing atmosphere, Lantana is a great spot for brunch - drink the latte's with caution, they are highly addictive...

Here's Laura with her excessively large piece of bread, plus my breakfast!
