Diagonal Nails

Today I had another play around with selotape and created these.

Simply done by painting my nails in base pink. WAIT TO DRY!!

Then place small sections across the nail in a diagonal fashion. Paint the area in a contrasting tone. I chose blue from OPI. Then remove the selotape before its dried, otherwise you might risk taking the nail varnish off.

Voila!

New Nails New Nails...

So these beauts were created by the wonderful Katie, head make up artist at FashionistA.

Using contrasting tones to suit my indecisive mood. She finished off with  a black heart tip ala PPQ from their AW12 show.

How? A sharpie pen and a steady hand. Genius.

I of course got bored and so got Katie to put more hearts on each nail in contrasting colours. I love the subtlety!! ;-)

Metallic pastel nails

So pastels are getting more and more popular and I think I may be bored of a trend that's not even had to time to be worn out and about!

So great news when I received these beauts - MyFace Lil' Bling Nail Chromes available to buy here for only £5.99 each.

A nice take on the pastel trend by chroming it up! Love these all worn together as below.

Left to Right - Pink Champagne, Tequila Sunrise, Caribbean Queen, Raspberry Beret, Diamonds & Pearls

Stiletto nails

So I gave in and decided to file my nails into claw like things. Here's some pics below - the nail varnish is by FashionistA and available at Superdrug. Oh and a apologies for the state of my cuticles - me needs a proper manicure!

Pointy nails

So I'm a massive fan of pointy nails ala Lana Del Ray - one problem. How does one actually type, do normal things with said nails?

Well one doesn't! So I decided to have a play around to create the look whilst my nails still remained at a manageable shape and length.

I came up with these bad boys.

How did I get the edges so sharp? Trusty sellotape of course!
